Job Description


Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team in London. As our Office Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the daily activities of our employees from providing snacks, organising socials to ensuring that everyone has a working laptop. You will also be responsible for remote support of our offices in Mexico and the US and collaborate on global projects with the operations team in India. This is a part-time opportunity (20 hrs per week).


Qualifications


Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment
  • Managing operational side of the IT locally, including managing hardware stock in the office and basic troubleshooting of technical issues with the remote support of our IT team
  • Manage office budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
  • Manage travel arrangements for the company
  • Assist with employees onboarding, offboarding process
  • Organise company events, including holiday parties, team-building activities, and other social events
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Leading projects like renting out free space in our offices in London and Phoenix


What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:

  • 3+ years of experience in office management or related field that requires organisation and strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic experience managing operational side of IT
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses
  • Strong attention to detail


Good to have

  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and/ or IT
  • Proficiency in Excel

Salary:

Base: £17,000 - £21,500 annually for a part-time scope
