Health Care Assistant - Days and Nights

Here at Battersea Place, we are seeking kind, caring and compassionate people who enjoy being busy while at work and who want to make a difference. We are looking for Healthcare Assistants, covering a variety of shifts, to join our team. Overtime will be available for those who are willing. Previous experience working in an elderly care setting is not necessary, as full training will be given, but it is an advantage.
What you will be doing:
· Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
· Supporting residents with providing personal care and at mealtimes
· Work as part of a team, helping nurses and implementing personalised care plans
· Help create a warm, friendly and stimulating environment for the residents
Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take ownership and use initiative
- Previous experience of working in an adult social care environment is an advantage
- Proactive, friendly and professional, with the confidence to effectively manage own workload
