Job Description
Optical assistants are an integral part of our business and crucial to our customer service journey. Individuals with a real passion for both healthcare and retail really thrive in this role, as it’s the perfect position for those who love to make a real difference to other people’s lives.
Our optical assistants are the face of East Street Eye Clinic, providing expert advice to our customers on our range of fashionable frames and guiding those who are trying contact lenses for the first time.
An Optical Assistant job is so much more than just your average retail job. At many high-street retailers, ambitious shop-floor staff might expect to work their way up to store management. At East Street Eye Clinic, you can also aim to own your own business one day. Many of our store partners began their journey as optical assistants and now lead enthusiastic teams in their own stores across the country.
