Job Title: Mechanical CAD Design Engineer (Med Tech)

Location: Remote
Salary: £45k-65k

We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to join our client’s team in the Med-Tech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and designing 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of mechanical components and products.

Responsibilities:

• Design 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of mechanical components and products
• Develop and optimize designs that meet specified requirements
• Investigate and resolve product design problems
• Ensure design accuracy and integrity
• Utilize CAD software to generate designs, drawings and assemblies
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure product success
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Create and maintain documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience with CAD software
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines
