About the role

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. Every day, Admiral Nurses help families up and down the country to have the best life possible for as long as possible.

At Dementia UK, the Insights and Evaluation Team plays a crucial role in building our evidence base, collecting and sharing data on the effectiveness of our Admiral Nursing model. The team is also responsible for embedding a culture of evaluation within the services.

We’re currently seeking an Insights and Evaluation Analyst to join our team. As an Analyst, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive and responsive analytical support to the Insights and Evaluation Team. You’ll develop new data sets, organize and maintain a system to store this data, and work alongside colleagues to optimize the use of data sets for the production of data monitoring and evaluation reports.

We’re looking for a candidate with excellent IT skills, experience in online survey software, and a good understanding of extracting and analysing monitoring data from clinical or similar databases. Additionally, you must possess strong analytical and interpretation skills, including experience with basic statistical tests. The ability to present and disseminate data, prepare Excel spreadsheets for data collection, and produce reports for both internal and external audiences is essential.

If you’re passionate about using data to drive improvements and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of people affected by dementia, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Our culture and benefits

We value our people so it’s important for us to create a working environment that looks after our workforce to achieve their full potential. You will become part of a diverse and dedicated team who are supported to not only use but develop your skills.

We offer a competitive salary, a generous benefits package including 33 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays), 8% pensions contribution alongside an environment where you can collaborate, be respected and thrive.
