Reporting to the
GM Resource Planning & Forecasting the
Ground Operations UK Resource Planner is responsible for producing establishment plans for all
Jet2.com ground operations staff at our
UK bases. You will look to maximise utilisation whilst being focused on minimising cost. The role also provides support to all other areas of the ground operations resource planning, rostering and delivery.
What will you do in the role?
The
Ground Operations UK Resource Planner is responsible for producing accurate and detailed resource requirement plans for all
Jet2.com ground operations staff at our
UK bases. You will also;

Create detailed reports giving projected availability details of UK based Jet2.com ground operations staff according to contract types, base, and role.

Support Ground Operations Training teams in managing staff resource availability and provide effective solutions to resource availability issues.

Evaluate UK ground operations staff classroom training needs and support Ground Operations Training team in identifying optimal date periods to plan training.

In conjunction with HR recruitment team ensure ground operations staff recruitment requirements are maintained and communicated.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
Our
Ground Operations UK Resource Planner will be computer literate with experience of developing and delivering data analysis reports and sound working knowledge of
MS Excel. You will also;

Good time management skills with ability to work to strict deadlines.

Proven analytical skills and experience of producing resource supply and demand solutions.

Working knowledge of working time directives and work-place rostering agreements.
