The Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust is a rapidly growing Multi-Academy Trust which at the time of writing consists of 15 academies. The Trust are looking to recruit a Director of Safeguarding to start in September 2023, or earlier if possible.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Safeguarding will play a critical role in ensuring our academies meet all regulatory standards with regards to safeguarding. The successful candidate will become the Trust’s safeguarding expert and will be the point of contact for academy designated safeguarding leads (DSLs) for all complex child protection issues and queries. The candidate will also be responsible for promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing for staff and pupils across the Trust and will also advise the Trust’s academies on strategies to promote the regular and punctual attendance of all pupils and assist with the implementations of agreed strategies.
The Director of Safeguarding will be based at our central office in Cleckheaton but is expected to travel across all our schools within the Trust.
