Essex County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Essex area for over 10 years. The foundation of this company is built on providing a safe and homely atmosphere where residents have the ability to live their lives in a nourishing and supportive environment which promotes their independence.
We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants for vacancies within Beechlands, Care Home, night and day shifts.
Main responsibilities involve being a supportive and important member of a caring team, participate fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard. Health Care Assistants must be able to give detailed care with reference to key-workers.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with moving and handling residents
- Carrying out all aspects of residents personal hygiene
- General supervision of residents during mealtimes; assisting residents with meals as necessary
- Maintaining and recording necessary documentation
- General cleansing and disinfection of equipment
- Maintaining Health & Safety standard
- Participating in all forms of social and recreational activities

- Willingness to develop new skills (to NVQ 2/3)

Shifts will include days, nights and weekends.
