Summary
- Providing widespread support to the G10 FX research team, ensuring databases remain up to date, meeting client requests for data and information, and assisting in the preparation of research documents and presentations.
- The role would also involve the maintenance and the development of quant tools so knowledge of VBA and Power Bi as well as some experience with statistical software (e.g. EViews, R, python) would be a plus.
- Someone to help us expand our FX derivatives research franchise. Someone with a more quantitative and statistical background as well as academic specialisation in FX derivatives.
1. Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation of templates for research documents ahead of publication. These would include, but are not confined to, FX vol monitor, FX Daily, FX Weekly, FX Focus and FX Key Views Update.
2. Help update PowerPoint presentations, collating data for charts and ensuring forecasts are consistent with those available in other publications.
3. Maintain the profit / loss record of Crédit Agricole CIB’s trade recommendations – price trade ideas in FX spot, vanilla and exotic options, interest rate futures.
4. Help with the update, maintenance and the development of quant tools and data bases for the purposes of the research process.
5. Answer client inquiries for data, forecasts or reports.
6. Assist team in the collation of information / data for the purposes of forecasting or report preparation.
7. Investigate opportunities for developing new FX tools, and identify projects that could enhance the team’s forecasting ability.

3. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
