We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join us at our JD Go Outdoors contract, at our multiuser site at Trafford Park, where you will lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, who like you, want to deliver results.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £26,292 per annum. You’ll receive 20 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead a team of warehouse operatives, co-ordinating their activities to meet set objectives and take charge in the absence of the First Line Manager-
Assist Management in the allocation of work on a daily basis and offer colleagues support and guidance as necessary

Take responsibilities for Health and Safety and lead by example in order to ensure consistent compliance

Support the management team with projects and initiatives, also actively supporting the site engagement and community strategy
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment-
Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation

Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
