Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office in Harrow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative staff, overseeing office supplies and equipment, and ensuring that office processes and procedures are efficient and effective.
The ideal candidate will have experience in ground work, including site preparation, excavation, and construction of foundations, as our company has a construction and engineering focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and maintain office procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Oversee office supplies and equipment, including ordering, maintenance, and inventory
- Manage budgets, contracts, and invoices
- Handle human resources tasks, such as hiring and onboarding employees
- Maintain office safety and security measures
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Experience in ground work, including site preparation, excavation, and construction of foundations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, office management or related field
