Interior Designer

We are currently seeking an Interior Designer to join our dynamic Cookstown team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in carving a successful career within an independently owned business.
Duties
- Meeting with customers in their homes or offices to provide interior design advice and guidance.
- Advising clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilisation of furnishings and equipment, and colour coordination.
- Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to customer for approval.
- Merchandising and displaying products in a creative and eye-catching manner.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 1 years’ sales experience and providing interior design advice.
- Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
- Ability to sell across the various departments.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Excellent numeracy skills in order to calculate required fit/measurements.
- Positive, ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
- Capable of communicating effectively and building rapport with customers.
- Proven ability in satisfying customer needs.
- A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle to travel between branches and to customers’ homes.

Please note this is a full time position five days per week and requires working on a Saturday and a late night on a Thursday to 8pm.

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
