Healthcare Assistant - Fertility - Harley Street, London - £25000 - £28500 per annum - Four day working week!
Currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join A Fantastic clinic located on Harley Street in London. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; to support the smooth running of the fertility and gynaecology clinic.
Healthcare Assistant Responsibilities:

Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
- Collect specimens, label and despatch to the outside laboratory (including phlebotomy) as per clinic SOPs Administer medication and treatments
under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Be competent in basic life support and assist calmly in an emergency situation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Perform venepuncture, interpret and give blood results when necessary
- Follow infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Assist with patient discharge and follow-up care.
- Attend and participate in training and educational programs as required.
Healthcare Assistant Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting.
- Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Meditex (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures.
