Accounts Assistant
Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Circa £20,000-£25,000 per year
Working days: Typically Monday to Friday with part-time considered

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our close-knit team and play a vital role in making a difference, supporting our growth, winning more exciting, world-changing projects.
What we need from you:
- A strong understanding of bookkeeping processes and the necessary admin surrounding the role.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in bookkeeping/administration.
- The ability to work swiftly and accurately.
- Support the Finance Manager to ensure accounting runs smoothly.
- A keen eye for detail. The ability to spot issues and raise any concerns early is key, as are good organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software, especially Xero and MS Excel.
- Support to the wider team and account managers to raise client invoices, prepare supplier purchase orders and follow up on missing documents.
- An always-better attitude, everything we make will be better than before.
- A natural team player. At TMG we don’t dwell on issues or point fingers, we focus on finding the best solutions.
- Natural curiosity, and the desire to try new things, new software, new answers to problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
