Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding and friendly Preparatory School Team from April 2023. The Teaching Assistant will support the Preparatory School Teachers as well as the wider school community and required to work 15.5 hours per week, Tuesday 8.30am-6:00pm, Wednesday 8.00am-4.00pm, term time – plus two weeks (36 weeks).
A relevant child care or teaching assistant qualification is desirable.

The Teaching Assistant will provide:
- Support for pupils – to include support for groups and individual pupils, as directed by the class teacher
- Support for teachers – to include working with the teacher to develop lessons, work plans and the classroom environment
- Support for the wider school community – to include assisting with the facilitation of the co-curricular programme and other duties helping to supervise pupils during the day
Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
