Requirements
- Minimum level 3 qualification in child care
-
At least 2 years experience in nursery management.

Able to demonstrate competence in meeting the developmental and emotional needs of the children
-
Hands on approach in the day to day childcare and willingness to lead by example
-
Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills which meet and exceeds the expectations of the parents and the company.

Can work on own initiative by being self-motivated.

Ability to work within a wider team

Knowledge in health and hygiene regulations

Able to time manage self and team.

Have strong I.T skills and able to use or willingness to use multiple computerised systems.

Strong skills in literacy and numeracy
The role will include
- The day to day running of the nursery

Ensuring Ofsted Statutory requirements are met.

Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times.

Assist in recruitment of staff

Support the development of existing and new staff within the setting.

Showing around prospective parents will be a vital aspect of your role

Being passionate and enthusiastic about the setting.

Managing and monitoring the occupancy of the setting using marketing techniques to promote the setting.

Effectively managing budgets.
