We are a national family-owned carpet retailer selling online and through 20 stores, employing nearly 300 people. Join our team!
Wilsons Carpets are looking for a Sales Consultant atour new and soon to open store at Unit 3, Lincoln West Retail Park, Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7BN.
Package
Salary : Average Salesperson earnings including bonus and commission £27-£32k+
£22k-£23k starting salary depending on experience, plus bonus and commission
No earning cap on commission
Contract : Full Time, Permanent
Hours : 40 hours per week – Any 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday - rota set by the company)

Key responsibilities
· Assist and advise customers with making purchases from a wide variety of quality floor coverings including carpets, rugs, laminate flooring, artificial grass, beds, and furniture
· Issuing quotes to customers
· Processing customer sales
· Ensuring all products and materials are ordered and in stock
· Adhering to company store sales, cash handling and banking procedures
· Ensure that the appearance of the store is kept clean and tidy in line with the company standards
· Any other duties as directed by line management
Competencies/Key Skills Required
· An excellent proven track record in face to face sales (flooring sales would be an advantage, one year minimum).
· Excellent customer service skills
· Able to work off their own initiative
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Organisational skills including a high level of attention to detail
· The ability to assess and help customers efficiently and knowledgeably
· Health & Safety Conscious
· Computer literate
