Accounts Assistant - Finance - Norton Canes
Roadchef Motorway Services have an opportunity for a Accounts Assistant , working within the Finance Team at our Support Office at Norton Canes on the M6 Toll Road.
Working within the Finance Team the role is responsible for providing support across the finance function, including data analysis, sales/purchase order administration, fixed asset administration, accounts payable and other adhoc support to the Finance team.
The salary for this full time position is up to £24,220 depending on experience.
Our ideal candidate must have the following:
Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in accounts role-
Experience of using SAP Finance systems would be advantageous

AAT Level 2 would be advantageous

Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team

Intermediate Excel skills

High level of accuracy and analytical skills with attention to detail

Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
-
Provide key data analysis and journal support.

Assist with fixed asset register maintenance mainly asset creation and reconciliations.

Prepare periodic balance sheet reconciliations and GL analysis.

Carry out the administration of sales and purchase orders.

Liaise with and provide support to company auditors.

Liaise with and provide support to internal stakeholders (Site and support office teams, Board of Directors).

Provide support to the Accounts Payable function as required ensuring adding .

Provide support to the Commercial Finance function as required.

Other ad-hoc reporting as and when required from all departments.
