We have an opportunity for an Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. Part time hours are also available. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern covering the hours of 8-4 or 9-5 Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

State Registered Occupational Therapist.

Member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT).

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Knowledge of RCOT and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.

Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
-
Degree level educated, or equivalent.
-
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
-
Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.

Experience in the delivery of high quality and effective occupational therapy services.

Have a well – rounded CPD history that includes personal learning and development regarding the rehabilitation of neurologically impaired patients.

Previous leadership experience that includes supervising and managing staff, audit and teaching.
Duties of this role include:

To manage a clinical caseload, providing occupational therapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, ensuring excellent patient care at all times.

Keep abreast of developments in occupational therapy by attending relevant courses and maintaining an up to date personal portfolio.

Participate in hospital cover / on-call rotas including week nights and weekend shifts, as required.

Commitment to ensuring quality services are delivered to both internal & external stakeholders through continuous improvement activities.
