The University of Bristol is looking to appoint a Head of Faculty People Partnering and HR Operations within the Human Resources Leadership Team to help deliver its people strategy and to continue to improve its HR practices. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is an exciting role with an opportunity to make a difference in an ambitious and forward-looking University whilst working as part of a supportive team.
University-wideThe Head of Faculty People Partnering and HR Operations will be both strategic and operational and will provide such advice to the Heads of HR Business Partnering as well as contribute significantly to University-wide people projects particularly relating to the academic workforce.
They will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective Business Partnering support to Faculties and contribute to the development of People policies and practices that further advance our ambition to be a top 50 Global University.
The post holder will bring significant relevant experience, in a University or a similar large, complex environment and will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
An understanding of the HE sector is not essential but the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to grasp the sectoral challenges quickly.
