The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Samson Aviation to work as an Operations Supervisor to support the operation of our Executive Jet Terminal.

Reporting to the Samson General Manager, the successful applicant’s responsibilities include supervising the day to day running and operational performance of Samson, whilst ensuring compliance with DfT, CAA and HSE regulations are maintained.

Other responsibilities include leading a team of operatives, as well as building and maintaining relationships with business partners and customers to provide excellent customer service.

Who we are looking for

You will be a confident and articulate communicator, with sound communication skills and possess the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Furthermore, you will be capable of leading, motivating and inspiring the commitment of others, as well as have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.

You should have a proven track record in a people management role, with experience of working in an airport/aviation environment, as well as possess an understanding of DfT, CAA & HSE regulations.

This post requires access through the Critical Part at the Airport and, in line with Department for Transport regulations; you will be required to demonstrate during the recruitment process, that you have no relevant criminal record.
