We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sourcing Assistant to join our General Merchandise department, where you will be an integral part of the team with plenty of opportunity to develop your sourcing skills. This role involves working across General Merchandise, which covers a diverse range of import and domestic suppliers around the globe
Please note this is an 12-month secondment / fixed term position, but a high percentage of our fixed term colleagues secure permanent opportunities along the way
Your Role
This role is incredibly varied and offers a real insight into Retail, from supporting with sourcing strategy development with our Trading teams, onboarding the right suppliers and analysing data to inform origin strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring commodity and market factors, review competitors origin strategies and liaise with different teams to ensure we deliver against critical path.
