We are currently recruiting for a Driver. Working as a Driver you will be driving vehicles operated by the Home service and ensuring passenger safety at all times. You will be assisting Residents to and from the vehicle and arrival at their destinations. As a Driver you will be:
- Driving vehicle/s operated by the Home during rostered hours
- Driving Residents to and from various destinations and assisting them getting in and out of the vehicle on arrival
- Performing the prescribed daily vehicle and safety equipment checks and immediately recording and reporting any defects which become apparent
- Acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times towards residents, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident
- Reporting and recording details of any accident or mishap, no matter how minor, and to secure witnesses to same
- Encouraging and contributing to working as a team, responding positively to colleagues and acting on all reasonable work instructions promptly
