Job Description
The client is a leading organisation specialising in supply chain / logistics activities across several industry sectors including Aerospace, Manufacturing and Defence. Due to continued growth and development, they now urgently require an interim programme manager to join their team for a 6 month assignment at £800-£950 per day + expenses, outside IR35. Remote and WFH fully supported.
The successful candidate will be an experienced programme manager with a demonstrable record of having delivered complex projects and programmes across either the logistics, supply chain, defence, aerospace and manufacturing industries. You will ideally have experience of having worked with blue-chip organisations in both the implementation and delivery of programmes with budgets over £15M.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and an effective coordinator of project leads and all associated interdependencies. You will be responsible for planning, designing and monitoring several programmes to help our client deliver business-critical objectives on time, to standard and within budget. You will naturally be an excellent problem solver and have the ability to manage both stakeholders, project managers and workstream leads, ensuring any issues are mitigated and do not affect business performance and objectives. The successful candidate will hold relevant project / programme management qualifications, be highly organised, hold high levels of gravitas and have the influence and persuade at all levels. Experience in the defence / aerospace sector and holding security clearance would be a significant advantage. We are looking to interview immediately.
