This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual looking to influence a positive change for children and young people. Cheshire East - Attendance and Children out of school service are expanding their Traded service offer and seeking to recruit 7 Education Family Support Workers.
These positions will be for a two year fixed term contract, term time only (39 weeks per year) for 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to schools, children and parents to successfully treat the root causes of absence and provide support as necessary to remove barriers to attendance. Therefore, candidates must have strong inter-personal skills, the ability to problem solve and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The role will involve working in schools and completing home visits so candidates must have a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle. The successful candidate must have previous experience of working with families or in a school setting and must be able to provide evidence of the ability to write clear and accurate reports.
