Are you a qualified Nursery Nurse who wants to make a difference to Children and Young People (CYP) and their Families in Dorset?

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust (DHC) highly values the contribution that the CYP Public Health Service (School Nursing) makes to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families, using evidence-based, early intervention strategies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our supportive and forward-thinking Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole School Nursing teams. This post is a fixed term 12 month contract, 37.5 hours per week, term time only. The hours are 0830 – 1630 (and no weekend working). The successful candidate will be based at Shelley Road in Bournemouth

As a School Health Nursery Nurse you will participate in the School Nursing core programme, as underpinned by the Healthy Child Programme and will work in partnership with children, young people and families, the Local Authority including education, Early Intervention Services, Children’s Services, Schools and other Health Care providers.You will be required to work closely with neighbouring School Nursing teams pan Dorset, to provide services in response to identified needs.
