Higher Kings Mill is a large paper manufacturer and all our finished products, that are made predominantly for the filing and educational market, are 100% recyclable and made using recycled materials that are sustainably sourced.
Situated in Cullompton (EX15 1QJ), the company has been in operation since 1757.
The Salary: £23,270 - £26,166
The Role:
Working a bespoke 3-Shift Pattern of 2 x Days, 2 x Nights, 2 days off, over a 20 day period. Followed by an additional 10 day 'block rest day period' on average, every month.
To apply for this role, you will ideally hold experience in a manufacturing/production environment. However, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
An extremely varied role where you will learn new skills to successfully manufacture paper which involves activities such as;
- Working with various pieces of machinery within the paper manufacturing process.
- Producing & unloading paper reels of various sizes
- The cutting & labelling of paper reels of various widths and sizes.
The role involves working both days (06:00-18:00), nights (18:00-06:00) and involves working weekends.
For the first two to three months, you will work closely with another member of staff to ensure full training and competency is achieved.
