Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support and a home for Life for the elderly.
We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our existing night team at Astell House in Cheltenham working 24 or 36 hours per week - Night shifts are 8 till 8.
- All breaks paid plus additional enhancements (weekends hours additional £1 per hour. £12.00 at weekends
- Rate of Pay: * Depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities of Senior Night Health Care Assistant role:
- At all times ensuring the highest standards of care and dignity are maintained. whilst meeting the needs of our residents
- Encouraging residents to maintain their independence as fully as possible
- Assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding ensuring dignity and respect for the resident at all times
- In addition there is a requirement to teach, and lead by example, new and inexperienced staff members in all aspects of their work in the home.
- ·You will also help to support the management team in the monitoring, supervision and training of the staff in the home.
Requirements
- A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to elderly.
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment, to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy.
- Have a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a care setting
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
