Olleco is a market leader within the recycling and renewable energy sector employing over 1000 people across the UK. We collect used cooking oil and food waste, converting it to bio-fuel, bio-gas, electricity, heat and fertiliser.
The role is based at our Westcott Park Anaerobic Digestion plant, which operates on 2 CHP engines providing electricity back to the national grid. The barrel team are a core function of the plant, helping ensure a core process of the plant operates smoothly.
More about the role:
- Ensure all tasks are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner
- Loading and unloading palletised barrels from HGV trailers
- ing and cleaning barrels
- Using a combination of manual handling and Forklift trucks to complete tasks
- Acting in a timely manner to maximise operational performance
- Undertaking the day-to-day operation of the barrel processing and working as a team with the other functions onsite (engineering, processing, H&S etc)
- Performing tasks as appropriate to ensure the continuous and effective performance of the facility
To join the team, you will need:
- High Health & Safety standards
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
- Experience in manual labour or an industrial-related field is desirable but not essential
- Experience of working on a mobile plant would be desirable but not essential
