We currently have permanent opportunities for a Stores Operative to join our team in Willand, Devon.
- This post is working Days
- The hours of work are: 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend working)
- The rate of pay is: £10.85 per hour
Main Responsibilities
As a Stores Operative you will assist with the management of incoming inventory orders and deliveries to ensure that the end product can be created to our customer's specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately counting stock levels for site packaging materials and PPE
- Checking deliveries that arrive on site from our suppliers
- Reporting any incorrect inventory deliveries with Senior Management and Senior Supervisors
- General housekeeping duties in the stores area
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Excellent record keeping and accuracy skills
- Effective communicator
- Can work well as part of a small team
- Previous warehouse experience desirable

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers. We know our proficiency is in processing, so we work with experts in other fields such as: hatching, farming, animal husbandry and transport to ensure that our supply chain is as effective and efficient as possible.
