Streetwise Soccer UK are recruiting Freelance Event Managers to help run our Football Fanzone Events at professional football club stadiums across the country on match days.
We work with top-level clubs across the country, providing fun football inflatables, games and activations on match days for fans to enjoy prior to kick-off. This involves driving large vans to the stadiums, setting up and packing away the activities whilst also being the face of the event, engaging young fans in enjoyable football-themed activities.
Candidates must be aged 25 and over (or approaching this age) for van insurance purposes, be strong, fit and capable of lots of heavy lifting - this includes lifting 4st sandbags, heavy inflatables and metal football cage panels on your own. You must be totally reliable, trustworthy, punctual, conscientious and hard-working and be regularly available on Saturdays.
This is an ideal side-income for anyone with events experience or experience working with young people, such as teachers, teaching assistants, sports coaches or youth workers.
THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION!
Typical day rate is between £150-£250 dependant on work-load and event location. This may sometimes involve overnight stays prior to an event in accommodation paid for by the company.
The role is classed as self-employed / freelance and therefore based around your availability. You must have a full driving license, be happy driving a large van long distances and undergo an Enhanced DBS Check. Must have some experience working either in the events industry or working directly with children or young people in some capacity.
As the company and our storage unit is based in Chester, you must live within a reasonable driving distance from Chester, such as North Wales, Cheshire or Merseyside.
