An excellent job opportunity is available to work for Bradley Building Supplies Ltd – in Nelson. We are a large retailer of high-end building material as well as build merchants with contracts to build private homes, commercial buildings, and industrial buildings.
Role - Brick layer (x2)
We are looking for 2 experienced, quality bricklayers to help complete several build projects we have in flight. Great rates of pay, £23,322 per annum (£11.50 per hour).
o Paid weekly.
o Direct into bank.
o Work a week in hand.
Your duties will include but are not limited to laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units, mixing, and preparing mortar, and ensuring that all brickwork is completed to a high standard and ready for inspection at any time.
Requirements:
o Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bricklayer.
o Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials.
o Ability to carry out structural alterations.
o Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Good communication skills.
o Good level of spoken English.
o A Green CSCS card as a minimum.
o A form of ID Required (Passport, Driving Licence etc).
Schedule:
o 8-hour shift.
o Day shift.
o Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays).
