Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients
Woking Hospital | Outpatients | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £23,000 per annum depending on experience with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
37.5 hours per week

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our Woking Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients, you will:
Put patient care first
Carry out administrative duties
Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
Meet the needs of every individual
Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact
Use phlebotomy skills
Carry out regular skills of ECG, removal of sutures, basic dressings

Our specialities include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment,
Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
