Position Summary:
Baxter’s are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate would join the engineering team working on an 8-hour shift pattern following current engineering shifts.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be helping provide breakdown cover and preventative maintenance work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be working on a mixture of both electrical & mechanical equipment with an Electrical Bias or strong industrial electrical skills preferred.
Responsibilities Include:
· To ensure planned and breakdown maintenance is carried out on all site plant and services to suit production requirements.
· To problem solve in a logical manner and strive towards continuous improvement within the Fochabers site.
· Take technical responsibility for the equipment performance.
· To provide support to team members in a proactive manner in carrying out allocated work where required
· To ensure handovers and CMMS updates are rigorously performed
· To identify and implement continuous improvement activities across the site to increase equipment efficiency and availability.
· To reduce downtime through use of best-in-class practices and techniques.
· Ensure all work will be undertaken and equipment is maintained in a safe and efficient manner, following any necessary standards and guidelines.
· Work closely with production to match the equipment availability with our market demand.

Essential Criteria
· Recognised Engineering apprenticeship
· +5 years Manufacturing Experience
· Multi Skilled with Knowledge in both Mechanical and Electrical Disciplines.
· Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience
· PLC experience preferred
· Self-starter who can work in challenging environment
· Flexible Team player
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £51,000.00 per year
