Job Description
Gerrards Confectioners are a traditional family run bakery, established since 1838, producing craft baked goods, savouries and confectionery for sale through our retail shops, mobile bakeries and wholesale customers throughout the North Wales, Wirral and Cheshire area.
We are looking for a part time member of staff to join our friendly team working in our bakery in Wrexham. This will be a permanent position after completing a probationary period.
Hours
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 15:00
Key Tasks and Areas of Responsibility
Working as part of our team in our sandwich preparation department and assisting in the production and packing of a wide range of bakery products.
Ensure maintenance of Company and Food Safety Act food hygiene standards
Ensure safe operation and use of all types of production equipment / machinery in accordance with manufacturers guidelines
Previous experience of working in a food environment would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
The successful candidate will be reliable, dedicated, take pride in their work and be a good team player.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week
Salary: £10.60 per hour
