Here is what you can expect:
- Drives vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations
- Pulls orders to match manifest and ensures manifests are complete and accurate
- Loads truck with merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer
- Makes contact with customer if not present. Provides assistance to resolve customer issues
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods
- Install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
- Will work in the warehouse when not on the road delivering and interacting with customer accounts
What you need to apply:
- Valid Truck Drivers License for state required
- 2 years truck driving experience required
- Satisfactory driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
- Proper licensing relative to equipment
- Ability to obtain Forklift certification required
- Ability to work in a team environment required
- Customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally required
- High school diploma or GED
