Operations Intern Opportunities
Chivas Manufacturing has an exciting opportunity for undergraduates to commence a 3-month internship helping the business improve its performance.
Chivas Brothers are the Premium Scotch Whisky subsidiary of Pernod Ricard who are behind iconic brands such as Chivas Regal, Ballantine's, Royal Salute, The Glenlivet, Beefeater and many more. Chivas Brothers could be the place to use your newly acquired skills to gain additional skills and professional experience.
This is a great opportunity for these undergraduates to be based in the Bottling Halls from June to the end of August 2023 (there is some flexibility around these timings, and we would be open to a longer placement). This is a paid placement based on a pro-rated salary of £20,048 per annum.
You would be spending your time supporting our Continuous Improvement initiatives within the bottling halls and would take on a couple of projects, in areas such as:

Line performance improvement

Improving labour management and efficiency

Process Improvement: capturing best practice and training it out

Supporting new system start-ups (e.g. Downtime recording)
Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who is a self-starter with a willingness to challenge the status quo. It’s important to be able to act as an effective member of a diverse team with strong analytical and communication skills.
