This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique programme aimed at improving the life chances of children aged 0-3 by demonstrating what works in Bradford.
Better Start Bradford is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund until March 2025 to help children in Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton get the best start in life.
They deliver over 20 projects for expectant families and families with children aged 0-3, including support before, during and after birth, reading, play, healthy cooking and eating and English language skills.

As a Contract and Implementation Officer you will be at the forefront of ensuring our providers are supported to deliver our projects as expected.
You will be confident in managing multiple workstreams, a good communicator, excellent at building strong working relationships, able to work independently and manage your own workload, and confidently work in a supportive and challenging role which is varied and diverse.
Experience in early years and/or project management methods would be an advantage.
Job Details:
- To provide contract and day-to-day relationship management to the Better Start Bradford project teams and support them in developing processes and systems for effective operations and reporting.
- To oversee delivery of Better Start Bradford contracts ensuring compliance with project management methodology and tools to ensure projects are implemented effectively and can be monitored and evaluated.
- To provide advice and support to Better Start Bradford projects teams in addressing risks, issues and problems and offering help with delivery where appropriate.
- To facilitate embedding of the Better Start Bradford key messages and learning from our programme by demonstrating effective implementation and sharing evaluation findings.
