CNC Milling Machinist
Salary starting from £40,0000 DOE + Fixed Shift Pattern + Specialist Training + Healthcare Cash Plan + Holiday + Pension + 4 day working week.

Are you currently a CNC Machinist with experience running milling machines? Would you like a role where you will receive continual training and opportunities to develop your skillset to become a technical expert?
The Kurt J Lesker Company is a well-established, global manufacturer of bespoke vacuum equipment researching the technology of tomorrow. As we continue to develop, strengthen, and expand our manufacturing department, we are looking for a new CNC Milling Machinist to permanently join our specialist team.
This position is based at our new manufacturing facility based in St Leonards. Standard hour shift are Monday – Friday 2pm – 10.30pm.
The role:

Setting work pieces, running direct and remote programs from engineering drawing on both horizontal and vertical HAAS milling machines

Confidently set tools and produce parts to the correct quality standards

Programming bespoke designs using CAM software and identify any programming errors

Document setup instructions that list tools, tool positions, feeds, speeds, and fixtures required to run machine in assigned workplace
What we would expect from you:

Previous experience using multi axis machines

Capable using various machine controls and conversational machine programs

Minimum of 2 years actual machining experience

Flexible and positive approach to working

HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent
