Job Description
We are looking for a hotel receptionist to join our team. The hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil setting in the Hertfordshire countryside. The hotel boasts 80 bedrooms all comfortable and contemporary styled and an onsite leisure club which includes a fitness suite, steam room, sauna and an indoor swimming pool as well as a beauty Spa.
40 hour contract available 5 days out of 7 per week . This will include very regular evening and weekend work.
Duties will include
- Meeting and greeting customers, check in and check outs
- Taking payments
- Making reservations
- Distributing enquiries; calls and messages to colleagues, obtaining customer details to enter onto the database and ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional at all times.
- Your key accountabilities in this role will be to deliver a high level of customer service, assist in the delivery of the business strategy and objectives, and to contribute positively to the team you work within.
The successful Receptionist candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can multi task effectively, be enthusiastic and positive in their nature and have an excellent telephone manner.
The successful candidate will also ideally have previous experience of working in a receptionist role ideally within a hotel environment.
