Lead Rigger
Three Way Logistics is an industry leader in material management, logistics, and comprehensive transportation services with proven accuracy, flexibility, and on-time delivery. Three Way is looking for a Lead Rigger for their Newark, CA location.
Position Summary:
The Rigging Foreman leads a crew of 2+ individuals in the field daily. They are the leader on site and are responsible for the entire crew in regard to executing the job safely, professionally, and efficiently. The foreman is responsible for communicating with the customer, updating internal customer service, and the rigging manager of progress or issues. The foreman is responsible for completing all paperwork for each job legibly and ensuring the customer is content with the work performed and job site is cleaned up prior to leaving. The foreman brings a level of expertise and performs the tasks as well with the team and does not just stand around directing. They ensure all loads and equipment are lifted and set properly, always demonstrating consistent commitment to safety. This position requires a Class C license, 2 years minimum experience driving a straight truck/bobtail, clean DMV (No major at-fault accidents or speeding in commercial vehicles), city driving experience in all weather conditions. Material handling is required. A background in Working with Semiconductor equipment and capital, Hydraulic Jack, Mechanical Jacks, Air bearing, Gantries, power tools, heavy equipment, slings, drilling, forklift loading a plus.
Essential Functions:
1. Lifting and moving of extremely large or heavy objects
a. Properly selects gear for the job
b. Attach and detach loads with all safety rules and regulations
c. Communicates and works cooperatively with all job present personnel effectively
d. Maneuver safely loads through difficult and confined spaces
e. Reports and escalates all concerns/situations to management immediately
2. Inspect rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working order
a. Examine daily and as needed equipment and tools for the job
b. Fix, monitor, replace equipment and report as needed
3. Sound judgement, initiative, tenacity, and flexibility.
4. Familiar with working on cleanroom.
5.Familiar with using toe Hydraulic Jack.
6.Familiar with using Mechanical Jacks.
7.Proper use and inspection of Slings (Multiple sizes and types).
8.Familiar with using Air Bearings, Hoses, Compressors, and Floor Covering.
9.Able to use and inspect A frame (Gantry) trolly and Chain Hoses.
Marginal Functions:
- Keep up-to-date and willing to comply with all safety standards.
- Understand and support the project team.
- Assist with the day-to-day situations in the field.
- Attend required meetings and training.
- Attendance is expected and must be reliable.
- Prepares and communicates reports as needed.
- Ability to travel for out-of-town projects as needed
- Other duties may be assigned depending on business needs.
Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured as needed.
- Significant work experience as a rigger, 2+ years minimum
- Great Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of rigging equipment.
- Basic English communication skills (Bilingual a plus)
- Reliable and hardworking, with a team-player attitude
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work extended hours as business needs.
- Familiar with working in a clean room.
- Crane certification preferred but not Required.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:
- Supervising: 3 years (Required)
- Semi-Conductor Rigging: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL C and or CDL A (Required)
