Hidden Scotland magazine is a source of inspiration and information on travelling to and around Scotland. We are on a mission to discover, create, and collaborate, in order to inspire travellers and Scotland's inhabitants to get out and explore one of the most beautiful countries our planet has to offer.
Set in the enchanting Milton of Crathes, Banchory, our shop is an innovative blend of travel planning and a showcase of Scottish creativity. Within the walls of a converted 17th-century sawmill, we offer an assortment of hand-picked products crafted by skilled Scottish artisans. Our unique planning station invites you to envision and map out your future travels. Adjacent to the beautiful Crathes Castle and the scenic River Dee, the shop truly encapsulates the spirit of its breathtaking surroundings.
When we open up in our new space we will be looking for a friendly face to join our team at the weekends as shop & studio assistant.

12 hours
Saturday 10.15am - 4.45pm
Sunday 10.45am - 4.15pm
Main Duties
* Day to day running of the shop
* Keeping the till system up to date
* Social Media for @hiddenscotlandshop
* Setting up for workshops when required
* Arrange the packaging & distribution of orders
Personal Profile
* Has a keen interest in the local area or enthusiastic and eager to learn
* Has a keen interest further afield in Scotland, or enthusiastic and eager to learn
* A passion for discovering small businesses and makers across Scotland
* Confident and outgoing, happy to chat with customers and help assist them
* Willing to help out customers who have questions about the area & products
* Can work on own initiative
* Eager to develop and grow along with the business
