We are on the lookout for a Trainee Fibre Cabler to work on our Hyperoptic project, working across Catford, Fulham & Willesden Green.
The Cabling/Test Rod & Rope engineers main responsibility will be to test rod and rope, installation of cables, sub duct both underground and overhead. Full training will be provided, you will be be working with an experienced cabler with progression to become a fibre cabler.
- Test Rod & Roping
- Proving the PIA network
- Pull in sub duct & cable in PIA & Swish networks UG & O/H
- locating blockages & updating required systems with box to box
- Producing A55s Requirements:
- Experience of Test Rod & Roping / cabling the Openreach network
- PIA network experience
- Installation of cables, sub duct UG & OH
- Installation of fibre nodes UG & OH
- Locate blockages and establish clear routes
- Produce A55’s in consultation with the main Surveyor
- Completion and submission of all necessary documentation
Experience & Skills required:
- Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
