Job Description
This role will lead on video and social content creation for First Choice.
You will be part of the Content Department’s Video team, delivering beautiful and effective content for multiple digital channels. You’ll use your creative flair, strategic thinking and excellent editing skills to shape and deliver content that engages the audience and delivers the brand message. You will maximise content capture at every opportunity and optimise your output for integrated storytelling across different platforms. You’ll be able to generate your own content ideas as well as interpret and/or draw out briefs from the wider marketing, social and creative team.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Editing video shoots produced by our in-house producers and Campaign and Brand video content to be used above and below the line.
- Conceptualising, shooting and producing content for social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter) and other digital platforms, supporting First Choice’s marketing and communications goals.
- Optimising content capture and application to tell a story across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Keeping up to date with the market, competition and latest trends and content/editing formats across social platforms specifically including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Working with the marketing team to brief, pitch and create compelling audience-appropriate content.
- Seeking feedback on your work to ensure the final execution is delivered on time and on brief.
- Feeding into shoot briefs to make sure that footage coming back is effective in its technical format and also the right content for you to shape stories for the different digital channels you will be editing video for.
- Crafting stories from rushes and supplied content which may come from various sources, so an understanding of working with mixed codecs, platform tools and frame sizes is required.
ABOUT YOU
- Junior to mid-level editor of video and stills content for use on multiple digital platforms including website/ mobile, social media, digital display advertising and VOD
- A creative storyteller brimming with ideas who can inspire others to share your vision
- A technical expert with knowledge of cameras, editing and grading solutions
- Methodical, able to establish effective delivery processes and maintain excellent quality standards and attention to detail
- Ability to conceptualise and craft content
- A great communicator able to balance priorities and thrive in a matrix team structure.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere and using other Adobe CC applications, ideally After Effects for motion graphics & animation
- Understanding of audio and music editing, usage rights, etc
- Experience with grading software would be a bonus
- Maintain and archive effectively rushes and content supplied to you, ensuring all media items are regularly maintained and accessible to the wider business.
