Job Description
Breakthru Care are looking for experienced support workers to work with people with learning and physical disabilities.
You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for Service Users and your daily tasks as a Support Worker will include assisting service users with personal care, medications, daily activities and help them to lead a more fulfilled life.
DRIVING LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.
Minimum requirements to work with Breakthru Care as a Support Worker:
You must have the right to work within the UK. Sadly we are currently not supplying COS sponsorship.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Candidates who already have a valid DBS will be Fast tracked.
You must have previous care experience.
Trainings required:
o Care Certificate/Mandatory training (Essential)
o CPI or MAPA training - (Essential)
o Autism awareness (Essential)
o Epilepsy Awareness (Essential)
o Dysphagia Awareness (Essential)
o Buccal training (desirable)
o QCF in Health & Social Care 2 or 3 (desirable)
A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding.
