Product Assistant Job in Widnes

We are recruiting for a long standing client who create products within the health & beauty and household industries. They are now looking for a Product Assistant to join them due to the continued growth of the business!
This Product Assistant role is a wonderful opportunity to get your foot in the door of a company who can develop and progress you in your career. We are looking for a recent graduate with a degree in a subject such as buying, marketing or fashion who wants to become part of a great team and learn.
What you’ll be doing as Product Assistant:
- · Write descriptions of products, and sales & marketing materials
- · Work closely with the design team to produce and adjust designs to match customer requirements
- · Support the Senior Product Manager on the creation of the timeline and path for product development
- · Create product and design briefs based on customer requirements
- · Manage the samples of products that come into and go out of the business
- · Create presentations for customer meetings for the account managers
- · Send out courier packages and general administration
- · Assist in all functions of the product development process including brand development, design and buying/supplier relationships.
What we’re looking for:
- · A degree in marketing, fashion, branding, buying or similar
- · Excellent communication skills
- · Keen and willing to learn
- · Organisation skills
Salary & Benefits:
- · Salary between £25 – 30,000 per annum depending on previous experience
- · Annual salary reviews
- · 23 days holiday per annum, increasing to 24 after the first year and 25 after 2 years’ service
