Graduate Project Engineer - Full time, permanent
Torque consulting are looking for an educated, confident and Graduate aspiring Project Engineer to join the world leader in pipeline leak and theft detection systems in the oil, gas and chemical industries. The opportunity would be ideal for a graduate who wants to work for a well established company and turn their knowledge into experience or a well experienced engineer looking for a new exciting venture.
You will be involved in the entire life cycle of projects from feasibility study all the way through to installation and commissioning. This will include developing and adapting the application software and hardware to providing support to the clients.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Physics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent computer skills, is able to download software and change IP addresses
- Is able to follow a circuit diagram
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Looking to work both software applications and physical hardware ( office and on-site)
- Strong knowledge of pipeline simulation, fluid dynamics, transport phenomena, and flow analysis
- Manchester based or willing to relocate
