Degree qualified or similar qualification in a relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years conventional and new energy powertrain CAE experience.
Good inter-personal communication, and the ability to present & discuss technical information in a clear and concise manner to colleagues either in UK or China.
Capable of working efficiently, with a pro-active attitude, as part of a small team to lead and deliver major tasks to tight deadlines.
Be an expert in one or more of the following areas: 1D (such as GT-Suite) simulation of HEV/PHEV/EV power/torque requirement; e-Motor efficiency and performance (Motor-CAD or Comsol); shifting quality (Ansys Adams).
Detailed knowledge of power unit component cooling strategy, thermal load and durability, experience of fluid/structural coupled analysis are desirable.
Detailed knowledge of engine/transmission/e-Machine/battery design, development, validation and test processes and their relationship with CAE processes will have advantages.
