Farm Secretary/Accounts
Salary negotiable
30 hours per week - flexible
We are looking for someone who is looking, and able, to support the Farm manager with all his day to day duties in the office. These duties will vary but predominately are listed below. It is a Family farm and so someone who is happy to work from the house, make a cup of tea and chat to the Family if they pop in the office. You will be an extended member of the Family.
Duties to include:
PA Secretary duties
Diary management
House management, farm house and other properties - booking gas and boiler checks etc
Rent chasing and meeting tenants, organising contracts
Managing farm vehicles, service, taxing etc
Bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Payroll - small team
SAGE Accounting software
Cattle movements and passports
This role is for an all rounder who has a love for the country, this is a working farm and so you will need to be prepared for a wide variety of duties and unexpected situations.
