Building Support Assistant (Job ref: BSA003)
Salary: £13,125.83 (FTE – £22,329) gross per annum
Hours: 21.75 hours per week average
Location: Passmore Edwards Centre – Newton Abbot Library
Closing date: 9am on Thursday 29th June 2023
Interview date: Friday 7th July 2023
We are looking for a customer-focused person to carry out a range of duties to support the delivery of our library service at Newton Abbot Library.
As a Building Support Assistant, you will be responsible for opening and closing the building when required, conducting regular safety patrols and performing general maintenance and building reactive duties as agreed with the Centre Manager.
The role will also include organising and dealing with contractors on site, the operation and maintenance of security and fire alarm and other building systems as well as general porterage duties across the building including the receipt and distribution of deliveries. You will also be responsible for dealing with anti-social behaviour when necessary.
